The amazing colourful drawings and original designs tell a story…In the north of Colombia there is a great Desert of La Guajira. The Wayúu, the indigenous people who live there, measure time in suns, full moons and rains. One year is 365 suns, 12 full moons and one rain. But climate has changed and water is getting scarcer every day.
Money from the sales of these scarfs goes to the Fucaicolombia organization who has done a great job helping to create water wells to help the community, and are creating sustainable solutions.
This beautiful scarf is made by the talented Colombian designer Catalina Estrada.
